Switch board installations are just bad. No matter how well do you install them, the fundamental concept of back box and panel fit on front don't stay reliable after prolonged use with heavier plugs, adapters or multi-plugs.

Nandini suggested these Millet Chikkis. They're really tasty and good. Got both coconut and peanut chikkis from Troo Good. But, hate the wrappers. They're extremely hard to open. I end up using my teeth to tear the top. It's sad that just a commoditised packaging mechanism yet no one's solving it at large.

Love this perfume cap. Magnetic and snaps right on place with almost perfect alignment. Very convenient and delightful.

We went for breakfast outside last week — Just Loaf in Koramangala. Great ambience, good outdoor seating in the nice Bengaluru weather. The thing I loved the most are the powder coated chairs; concave shaped bottom and back gave great comfort. We sat there for about an hour and appreciated the great aesthetics and decor of the place too!

On sunglasses

The earliest eyeglasses of the 13th century were purely functional, and thus had round lenses. Later, when other shapes were introduced as fashion items, round lenses acquired meanings tied to their functional roots. Figures as diverse as John Lennon, Steve Jobs, and Mahatma Gandhi embraced them to convey simplicity, directness, learnedness, asceticism, and spiritualism — and to show, perhaps, how to reject fashion fashionably.

Aviator sunglasses were developed in the 1930s for airplane pilots as a replacement for uncomfortable goggles. Their success is due to their lightness, a convex profile, and a simple shape that closely covers the eye socket. Prominent WWII news photos of General Douglas MacArthur turned them into mainstream symbols of adventure.
