I found this nice list of 25 questions on X a few days ago — 25 questions for a fresh start. I write most of my daily notes with questions I feel like I need clarity on so this one came in handy before the year ends.
1. What are my top three priorities for 2025?
Personal: Celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary at a tropical place. Our last attempt was Andaman and Nicobar Islands but it was a disappointment.
Fitness: Get beach ready and stay that way!
2. What is one habit I want to create this year?
Talking to my plants. We have a 100+ of them and I love almost all of them. They deserve to know about my life updates too!
3. What personal qualities do I want to develop?
Focus more.
4. What will success look like for me in 2025?
Be more aggressive with my goals and things required to achieve them. Close to zero unnecessary meeting invites. Phenomenal new Native products. A faster car. Having my parents move with us. Building a new home with wife. Continued low-stress. And yes, no ICU visit.
5. What is one bold goal I've been hesitant to pursue?
Drive on a race track.
6. How will I take care of my mental and physical health this year?
Physical health: Stopped alcohol completely since May this year. No plans to get back. Workout as often as I can. Go for a lot of walks. Eat a lot of fish and home-cooked meals. Mental health: I’m already good here.
7. What do I need to let go of to move forward?
Anything that doesn’t bring me joy.
8. Who in my life supports my growth and goals?
My dad since I was born and my wife.
9. How can I add more joy and fun to my daily life?
Listen to and play more music.
10. What financial goal do I want to achieve by the end of the year?
Lamborghini Urus would be great.
11. What new skill will I commit to learning in 2025?
Professional Industrial Design with sprinkles of Design Engineering. I still want to build a scaled Polestar transforming into an Autobot. Professional drumming and conquering Roli seaboard.
12. How will I organise my time to stay productive and balanced?
I’ll make my priorities sharper.
13. What motivates me to reach my goals?
Helping others in whatever way possible. To help them, I often need to up-skill myself in certain areas… works out towards my actual goals as well!
14. How will I track my progress and celebrate small wins?
Consistently doing the thing is the only way that works for me to track progress. I don’t celebrate small or big wins. Don’t care much about it.
15. What does my ideal work-life balance look like?
Like it does today. I love doing things be it in the context of personal life or work life. Luckily, the ones I do at work pay me.
16. What experiences or adventures do I want to have in 2025?
Drive more to remote, local places to spend time and have their food. My wife’s my only long-drive partner. She misreads a lot of signs which I love!
17. How can I be more present and mindful in my daily routine?
Write even more.
18. What will I stop doing that no longer serves me?
I’ll stop eating chicken. Have been weeks since I moved to my childhood love — fish!
19. What is one relationship I want to improve this year?
Relationship with my body. I had a close call this year. Body caught up, shit happened and found myself in ICU for the 3rd time in life. No more. I’m 36 and if I still want to live like a child, I have to stop myself from stressing like a boring adult!
20. How can I contribute more to my community or causes I care about?
Create more.
21. What are three books I want to read for self-growth?
Self-compassion by Kristin Neff. Outlive by Dr. Peter Attia. Joyful by Ingrid Fetell Lee.
22. What limiting belief do I need to challenge and overcome in 2025?
That I need a 10-year plan.
23. How will I make time for rest and self-care throughout the year?
I’ll prioritise things that will remain relevant 5 years from now.
24. What is one risk I'm willing to take for personal growth?
I have a high risk appetite. Can take many. But they are private so won’t share.
25. What legacy do I want to build or continue this year?
This website — my digital home.
