I wish people complained less: Folks complaining about their horrible boss, lack of excitement at work, bad work space, people around them, the appraisal that didn't happen, the motivation that isn't there. Yesterday, the driver from CCU airport complained about the low fares. The Porter delivery guy complained about the low cost of delivery. Everyone's comfortable complaining instead of taking action. Quit that job and do something else. Don't go to Airport and sign-up for pre-paid taxi if you think fare's less. Don't sign-up on Porter.
I wish people behaved well with others: I see many talk rudely with retail store staff, waiters, hotel staff, any other blue-collar worker. I can't recall where I read it but the concept goes like treating all as if they are having a bad day. This way, you'll generally be nicer to people. I'm born & brought up in a super small town called Shyamnagar in West Bengal. Here, you are always chilling, having tea with anyone and everyone at home — no matter the profession. I thank my folks for teaching me to be nice to people.
